We meet at Richard Room at Wentworth Douglas Hospital on the 3rd Wednesday of each month at 6:30pm 

Celebrating our 11th year anniversary in 2021, GFWC Dover Area Woman's Club is ready to really kick off a great year "Planting Seeds of Friendship and Service Throughout Our Community."  We're looking for new members just like YOU! 

We are long term Dover residents and we are newcomers. We are moms and grandmothers, wives and working women, friends and neighbors. We share our love of volunteering together as a club packing food bags every month for Dover's schoolkids or as individuals planting Pinwheel Gardens raising awareness for Child Abuse Prevention.  And a million other projects in between. Together "We are GFWC".  

As a proud member of the General Federation of Women's Clubs, our Dover Area Club combines forces with tens of thousands of members around the globe to think globally and act locally.  We are "Living the Volunteer Spirit" here in Dover where we partner with AMAZING local non-profits including Dover Children's Home, Dover 400th Anniversary, Dover Community Trail, Dover Food Pantry, End 68 Hours of Hunger, HAVEN, NH Children's Trust, NH Women Vote 100 and Riverside Nursing Home.  And that's just a start of what we can do when you bring your energy to our club.

Our club meetings are usually held on the second Wednesday of the month at 6:30pm. Due to COVID we are all now expert ZOOMERs and met remotely last year.  This year we expect to vary our locations between in person and remote ZOOMS. We also meet once a month in the mornings for coffee.  While the weather cooperates we try to find locations that are "hidden Dover gems", often unknown by most of our members We bring our own coffee and just relax, spaced safely apart in the fresh, and now "chilly" air.  Once a month we also try to take a walk on the Dover Community Trail, where our club is an "Adopt A Trail" sponsor.
