Helping Brigid's House of Hope
Human Trafficking occurs in New Hampshire every day. The Concord Contemporary Club is helping to raise awareness and donations for Brigid's House of Hope, a safe location for female trafficking victims.
Human trafficking isn't only sex trafficking, it's also labor trafficking of children and adults. Brigid's House of Hope is located in central New Hampshire and provides safe housing for victims, while helping them get their lives back on track. This refuge is currently home to six women, with plans to expand.
The Concord Contemporary Club is a women's community service organization, which supports a variety of charitable organizations. The club is asking the public to donate supplies for Brigid's House of Hope, such as laundry detergent and cleaning products, dishwasher detergent, toiletries and toilet paper, new full and queen-size bed sheets, new pillows and new towels. The club has placed a donation box at Concord Parks & Rec Headquarters, 14 Canterbury Road, and at Gibson's Bookstore, 45 South Main Street, which will remain until February 13. Your generous donation of any supplies will help these victims. For further information, call Debbie at: 603-731-0207.
