President’s Program: Go Forward With Confidence Scholarship

Dear GFWC-NH Club Members:

Greetings as we transition to the 2020-2022 Administration!  It is likely to be a time of many adjustments as we prioritize safe and healthy practices while continuing with our community service mission.  Although we may need to do things a little differently from the past, our volunteer spirit will remain the same.

The theme for our administration is adopted from the GFWC slogan, Unity in Diversity.  Every club and every member is unique, yet we all complement each other.  When we work together, we surpass what we can do on our own. My President’s Project ties in with GFWC’s Signature Program. It is to support our State Federation’s new initiative for survivors of domestic and sexual violence, the Go Forth with Confidence NH Scholarship.

I would like to thank each club and member for all you have done or will do in response to the expanded needs in your communities.  It will be exciting to learn and grow together as we figure out new ways to accomplish our goals.   As a hiker, I compare this to “bushwhacking” our way through the forest when the trail becomes blocked or dangerous.  It might be more challenging, but that makes the view from the summit seem all the more beautiful. I am honored to be able to forge new pathways with you in the years ahead.

In Federation Friendship,

Jeanne O'Sullivan
