SalemFest is supported by Salem Woman's Club and was founded 19 years ago, by long time member, Betty Gay. This events serves as an opportunity for all volunteers organizations and churches in the area to gather and educate community residents as to their goals and objectives. Displays are laced with crafts, music, games, and food. The Salem Woman's Club sold Terri Lynn nuts, we also sold handmade crafts and has a gift card raffle tree. Proceeds from the bake sale and raffle benefit the Kelley Library. Proceeds from the craft table benefit the SWC's literary contest. Participants expectations include attending organizations meetings, distribution and pick up of event signage.
